1. What information do we collect?
Information you provide. We collect information you give us directly, which may include:
Name
Email address
Billing and payment information (processed by our payment provider — see Section 4)
Anything you write in a contact or speaking-inquiry form
We do not process sensitive personal information.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Services, we automatically collect certain technical information that does not by itself identify you, such as your IP address, browser type, device characteristics, operating system, referring URLs, and information about how you use the Services. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies and is used to keep the Services secure and to understand and improve how they're used.
Information from other sources. We may receive limited information from analytics providers and marketing sources to help us understand our audience and improve the Services.
2. How do we process your information?
We use your information to:
- Deliver the Services and process your purchase of the digital products;
- Respond to contact and speaking inquiries;
- To request feedback. We may process your information when necessary to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services.
- Send you Service-related and, where you've opted in, marketing communications;
- Keep the Services secure and prevent fraud;
- Understand usage trends and improve the Services;
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.
3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?
If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on these legal bases:
- Consent — which you can withdraw at any time;
- Performance of a contract — to deliver a product you've purchased;
- Legitimate interests — to secure, analyze, and improve the Services;
- Legal obligations — to comply with applicable law.
4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services, each under contract and only as needed to do their work:
- Stripe — payment processing for the digital products;
- Webflow — website hosting and form submissions.
- Amazon — the book Unrefined: Find Your Purpose is sold on Amazon under Amazon's own terms and privacy policy; we don't process those transactions.
We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. What is our stance on third-party websites?
The Services may link to third-party sites (for example, Amazon and our payment provider). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing information to them.
6. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, and understand usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may affect some features.
7. How long do we keep your information?
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law (such as tax and accounting rules). When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. How do we keep your information safe?
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No transmission or storage method is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our servers are primarily in the United States; if you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries.
